Raintree Media Managing Director and Editor - In- Chief, Sandhya Mendonca received the prestigious 20th National DESASNEHI Award 2015 for social service from the India Development Foundation along with five other awardees.
“These people do a lot of work for society, yet go unnoticed. We want to honour them. We also want to make them come on a single platform,” said E P Menon, executive trustee, India Development Foundation, which has instituted the award.
